Cigarettes My experience with cigarettes is expansive. My father used to smoke before I persuaded him not to. I have to admit that it wasn’t as easy as I just made it sound but then that’s the way I make things sound in general. I learned my alphabets pretty early thanks to my home-education and before class 1 could read what most couldn’t. It didn’t take me much time to see written on the fascinating cigarette packets “Cigarette smoking is injurious to health” [I say fascinating because I used to be impressed by the sheer volume of smoke that would come out of the packet when it was lighted. I believe I was in some ways getting towards the important principle in Physics of Volume Conservation] I must admit that when I first read this statement I was convinced that this statement was a secret statement which could only be read by very small people, for the print was also so small. ‘Big people’ I thought couldn’t read it because they eyes were too big otherwise why on earth would they want to injure themselves. [I definitely didn’t know much about Optics] I wish at times that the answer was really as simple.
